Ryanair Launches New route from Glasgow Prestwick to Wroclaw

Fares from 24p* to celebrate

Ryanair, Europe?s No.1 low fares airline today (Tuesday 1st August)
celebrated the inaugural flight between Glasgow Prestwick and Wroclaw, and
announced that 12,000 passengers have already booked on the service.

Launching the new route, Ryanair's Sales and Marketing Manager for the UK,
Ireland and Central Europe, Caroline Baldwin said:

?Ryanair is delighted to open direct flights linking Glasgow with the
beautiful cathedral city of Wroclaw, famed for its Gothic architecture and
plethora of cultural attractions. So far the route has proven immensely
successful, and over 12,000 passengers have booked since we announced the
route just four months ago.

?To celebrate the inaugural flight, fares are currently available from just
24p, and we advise passengers to book immediately on www.ryanair.com, as
demand for flights this cheap will be very strong.?

Caroline Cooper, Glasgow Prestwick?s Passenger Services Manager, commented:

?We are delighted these services to Wroclaw have begun, and also that
Ryanair have sold so many seats already.

?This takes the number of direct Polish routes from Glasgow Prestwick
Airport to four and, given that the destinations are well spread out, it
means we are providing strong coverage in a marketplace that is growing
very quickly.?
