BA Flight information for Saturday 12 August

2000 FRIDAY AUGUST 11

British Airways is warning customers to expect further flight delays and
cancellations at London Heathrow tomorrow (Saturday, August 12) as a result
of severe congestion at the airport.

Operational disruption is expected to continue, primarily due to the length
of time it is taking for airline customers and staff to be processed
through airport security checks.

At London Heathrow, British Airways has cancelled 10 longhaul flights and
21 shorthaul flights tomorrow.

At London Gatwick, a total of 10 domestic flights have been cancelled. All
flights to Europe are planned to operate as normal. No longhaul
cancellations are expected.

As a result of the new security regulations, and in common with all
airlines, British Airways still expects departing flights to be subject to
delays.

British Airways is doing all it can to minimise the impact of recent
disruption on its customers who are once again urged to check the status of
their flight on ba.com before travelling to the airport this weekend. A
full list of flight cancellations will appear on the website.
