Aberdeen Airport runway protest urged

PEOPLE were yesterday urged to object formally to proposals to double the
length of Aberdeen Airport's main runway.

Aberdeen Campaign Against Climate Change claimed the £10 million
development would lead to a surge in harmful emissions.

A longer runway would allow more international flights (and a
corresponding reduction of the more polluting and ubiquitous domestic
flights)?
