"But BAA insisted a rise in international travellers on direct flights
was helping Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen sustain "consistent
growth".
A relatively good month for EDI with the annual passenger deficit
(compared to GLA) down to 303,200. Historical data would suggest sub
300,000 by June.

In May 2005, GLA recorded 47,100 more passengers than EDI.

In May 2006, the GLA monthly lead reduced to just 19,900.

In my view, EDI’s star performer is currently the air cargo / mail
market with a very strong 21.4% 12-monthly growth. This market is
discounted by many but not by me. It is an important and growing part
of the EDI success story. EDI is now one of the UK’s top airports for
air cargo / mail and is No1 air cargo / mail airport in Scotland.

As I said elsewhere - it isn't!

Why don't you download yourself a real newsreader to go with your new
status with Scotland's Premier ISP?

Personally I would have to tout Gravity but I also have a licence for Forte
Agent but I find it's interface cluttered. Clearly ZIMACS must be avoided -
it seems to lack even basic functions.

If you are adventurous go below and download Gravity and levitate to the
real usenet world! Virtually 24 help available from myself!

Adrian would also be able offer advice re X-News

Too much for me sir. It just wants to manipulate my words and I'm not
intelligent enough to think it through.

I'll stick to flying and enjoying the world. Dew point looking good and
ridges working this weekend. Good thermals me thinks ans if weatherjack is
right might trap a bit of late wave.

G'night Jim. Been to pub and life is good.

Is Fisher back in here? I thought his ISP had banned him from posting
replies to me, interesting ploy to claim that a third party can somehow
remove postings from news. I rather think Google disproves that theory,
and their servers are US based.
