Hi and welcome to the fairly simple FAQ for
alt.airports.uk.humberside
This FAQ is also available on

alt.airports.uk.humberside is primarily for news and
information about flights and other events at Humberside
International Airport, in North Lincolnshire. Aviation and
Tourism information posts in general are also acceptable in the
group, including information on tourism and travel advisories
as published by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, and
similar agencies abroad.
Posts concerning Immigration and Emigration are also
acceptable in the group.
alt.airports.uk.humberside is a full tourism and aviation
newsgroup, not tied to one small subject area.
Humberside Airport is not a huge generator of news, as can be
understood being a small regional airport at the moment.
Advertising
Some Advertising is allowed, but only if it pertains to
Humberside Airport, and events happening there. All other
advertising will be deemed OFF TOPIC, and the poster will be
reported to his/her Internet Providers.
FLAMING
Flaming of other posters is forbidden. If someone is annoying
you, or flaming you, then please use your killfile to stop all
posts from that person. If threats occur, then please send a
complaint to the posters ISP, or law enforcement if
appropriate.
TOP POSTING
Top posting is the norm in this group. We feel it is more user
friendly than original posters wading through masses of text
before they can reply to there own posts.
CROSS POSTINGS
Cross Postings are discouraged, as they invite spammers, virus
attacks, and other undesirables.
Please do not cross post to alt.airports.uk.humberside
BINARIES
The posting of photo’s and all other binaries is forbidden. Most
ISP’s stop binaries being to send to text groups anyway.

STORY WEBSITES
Please post full stories onto this newsgroup, directing people to media websites to read full stories just wastes time, when the reader could view the full story on this newsgroup.
